Limitations have been a major factor in my life. I grew up in Hungary during the communist occupation, when even the most basic human rights were denied. The personal freedoms to move, to study or to speak were restricted. After my escape to the West in 1969 I faced new barriers: cultural, financial, and lingual. During my studies at Falmouth College of Arts and Design, I attempted to express many of those limitations and their manifestations within me through my artistic creativity.
